I really don’t like the current trend in the self development world of shaming women for “being in their masculine”. It’s just another way of saying that women need to be fixed. Although much can be done at an individual level, we need to work on this at the collective level too. Until structures and the patriarchal system change, telling women to “just soften” is not liberation, it’s denial. In this post I explain why it’s a systemic issue and what can be done.
